Conceptual Budget Estimating
Noble Construction Group’s objective is to provide our clients with the highest level of quality at the lowest possible cost. Reasonable and accurate budgets are the start of a successful project. From the inception of design documents and intent, we will provide you with a baseline budget. As the program progresses, our budget will continually be refined. A major component to establishing realistic budgets is a constant stream of communication with the subcontractors and vendors in the market. The information we gather from our field of contractors provides us with the most current market pricing. Our conceptual budgets are fully detailed by trade and will provide our owners with quantity, unit costs, allowances, etc. As part of the process, along with the Owner and Design Team, we have budget review meetings to ensure that all design and project specific issues that affect pricing are analyzed.
Systems Feasibility Studies
Preliminary studies may be undertaken to review, determine and document if a specific building system being presented by the design team is a viable product for a certain use. As the design team presents potential systems for installation on your project, Noble Construction Group will review them and provide a report or analysis for you, thus giving you the tools needed to make an educated decision on such systems. The discipline Noble Construction Group will bring to the design team of planning, organizing and facilitating the resources necessary to make the “right” decision is lead by our many years of experience in the industry, as well as, our understanding of today’s marketplace.
Material and Labor Analysis
Understanding what materials and labor forces are available in the marketplace is a major contributor to cost analysis. Noble Construction Group and our team members have long standing relationships with the top contractors, vendors and manufacturers, which enables our team to provide our Owners with products and companies that are best suited for our projects.
Coordination with Design Professionals
With the ever changing world of construction and development, Noble Construction Group will assist our Owners and design team members in facilitating the drawing and specification development process. Providing our subcontractors and vendors with the most complete set of documents minimizes opportunities for changes and gives our team a solid foundation to achieve our scheduling goals.
Scheduling and Lead Time Study
Construction takes time, and time is money. Proper scheduling and understanding the lead time for materials, equipment and labor are essential to a successful project. Noble Construction Group will develop detailed schedules with target dates established for design deliverables, bidding, contract award, shop drawings, submittals and construction activities for the duration of the project. Schedules developed during the preconstruction phase are then rolled over into the construction phase, where they are maintained and updated regularly.
Logistics & Planning Analysis
Noble’s veteran team will develop and analyze a projects logistics, safety and security plan. In addition, we will develop mitigation procedures to ensure your projects success, in the event of project obstacles. Recognizing what can go wrong and establishing predefined procedures to rapidly and prudently mitigate risks is developed with a proactive approach.
Value Engineering and Alternative Design Studies
During the preconstruction process, it is essential to evaluate alternate designs to reduce cost, improve schedule impact and streamline construction details. Noble Construction Group will analyze concepts gathered from our in-house team, subcontractors and vendors and provide the design team with recommendations for their review.
