Steven Villanueva

Mr. Villanueva is Noble’s Corporate Safety Director. He brings 12 years’ of dedicated occupational safety and health experience in both the civil and building industries to his position at Noble. Mr. Villanueva has managed world class health & safety programs which include the World Trade Center Transit Hall Foundations Greenwich corridor project, East Side Access Infrastructure Projects, as well as the Hudson Yards Platform Overbuild, Amtrak Gateway Tunnels Phases 1 & 2, and LIRR Maintenance of Equipment facility rebuild.

He is responsible for managing Noble’s day-to-day environmental, health, and safety operations. He is intimately involved in all phases of Noble’s safety planning and intra agency coordination. Mr. Villanueva interfaces with each Noble jobsite on regular basis to ensure conformance with Noble HASP and Federal, State, Local requirements.

Mr. Villanueva holds the credential of Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), is an authorized OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer, an FDNY Construction Site Fire Safety Manager, an NCCCO Mobile Crane Inspector, and holds the NYC Department of Buildings Concrete Safety and Site Safety Coordinator’s Licenses.

He holds over 10 years of experience as a member of NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene’s Medical Reserve Core. Mr. Villanueva also serves on the NYC Department of Buildings Site Safety Training Taskforce, overseeing the development and rollout of industry wide training related to Local Law 196.

Mr. Villanueva is working towards a BS in Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University.
