Bid Review and Award

In conjunction with our Owners, Noble Construction Group will generate a complete list of pre-qualified trade subcontractors and vendors. The required design documents will be issued to the approved list, proposals will be solicited and analyzed, and award recommendations will be prepared for each perspective contractor. During this process, any questions regarding design intent, material selections, alternative products or equipment, lead time analysis, and subcontractor availability will be vetted to guarantee the proper subcontractor is selected.

Noble Construction Group will develop trade contracts for all subcontractors and vendors upon completion of each successful bid and award. These contracts will be managed and tracked to ensure all contractors are properly engaged on the project.

Scheduling

Scheduling

At the inception of the project, a detailed schedule will be created. This project schedule will identify design milestones, owner decisions, pre-purchase or long lead items, inspections, submittals, and construction sequencing. Noble Construction Group will regularly monitor and update the schedule, and identify and plan for any potential delays, creating time-saving methods that could be implemented to expedite the project schedule. For larger projects, NCG will create micro- or task-specific schedules, which will be tracked individually from the overall schedule.

Document Control is an essential component to tracking and completing a project. Clear communications are imperative to ensure all team members are working with the most recent documents. Noble Construction Group will generate and regularly distribute a variety of project logs and documents, including (but not limited to) Requests for Information, Daily Job Reports, Minutes of Meeting, and Monthly Progress Reports.

Cost Control & Reporting

Cost Control & Reporting

It is critical for Construction Managers/General Contractors and Owners to maintain a reliable and effective cost control system. Accurate and up-to-date cost analysis, along with an open line of communications and intelligible reports, provide the project team with the tools necessary to proactively manage the project’s budget. Noble Construction Group will supply the team with multiple reports and schedules, including (but not limited to) Cash Flow Projections, Anticipated Cost Reports, and Payment Approvals and Recommendations.

Change Management

Our goal is to minimize cost and time for our Owners. Verification, along with documentation, of changes to a project is critical to maintaining budget and schedule integrity. Up-to-date reports, logs, and controls are key elements of this process. With predefined change control and notification procedures, NCG’s Project Managers can quickly distribute requested changes, verify cost and schedule implications, notify Owners of claims, and mitigate potential budget overages and schedule extensions.

Quality Control/Quality Assurance

Noble Construction Group’s reputation for its attention to detail, focus on quality, and improving systems and techniques is well deserved. We strive to provide the highest levels of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA). Our QC program starts at the beginning of each project with a comprehensive review of the construction documents and is continued through project close-out and punchlist. For each component of the construction process, NCG has a predefined QC procedure that our team members follow. These procedures focus on review, testing, inspections and eliminating the construction of defective systems. Simultaneously, our QA program allows us to improve our procedures to stabilize our production and minimize installation issues or defects.

NCG is committed to enforcing a zero-tolerance standard by offering safety training and educational programs.

Punchlist and Project Close-out

The highest level of attention is paid to project completion and punchlist. Along with our Owners and Design Team, NCG will establish a predefined level of finish prior to a full-scale deployment of punchlist activities. We feel that this clearly defines our expectations for our tradesmen, contractors, vendors, and their respective firms. A series of forms and templates are customized to meet your project’s needs and are maintained by NCG’s staff to ensure all items are completed to satisfaction.
